Say hello to the new Maple Girl Kim Eun Bi (김은비)

This is her new single Ii’m My Fan. I like it, what do you guys think?

I just put together a simple MV using clips from the behind the scenes video and official photos. Nothing special but it just makes it a little more interesting than nothing at all.

Given how big KPOP is I’m surprised Nexon hasn’t done more of this sort of thing. Perhaps In the future they will do more songs like Nexon Japan.

There is also a behind the scenes video for the whole thing.

Kim Eun Bi (김은비) doesn’t just sing the song she is also the new Maple Girl. Her first video gives a low down on the Technology Age part of the Chaos Update.

Don’t know the proper name for all the areas etc but this will do for now. You can access the area through the Door in the Time Temple. There you are lead to a map with two entrances. The one of the left leads to Ereve and the one on the right leads to Henesys. In the future Henesys has been destroyed and all the mobs have become super powerful (Lv 170+). Also all the Cygnus Knights have turned evil including the Empress and Shinsoo as well as the Cygnus Job  Instructors. The only one that still seems to be good is Nineheart. Always trust a dude with a monocle I suppose. According to his NPC text it appears some sort of incident took place that resulted in what ever it is that has happened to the Cygnus Knights.

Some famous, well classic NPC’s are also there but more grown up. Also it seems Chief Stan is dead as you can see his ghost next to a statue of him. But his son Alex who ran off to Kerning has taken his place.

As everyone guessed the New main boss is the Empress but I don’t think many guess Shinsoo and the Job instructors would be joining her. At the end when the player travels to Ereve you can see them fighting some generic Cygnus Knight characters. So it would seem everyone has gone bad.

Also what i notice from the video is that the player takes a portal from Heeseys to Ereve. So it would seem the two are directly connected in the future. Perhaps the Empress crashed the island into Victoria? It looks a really promising area and I can’t wait to learn the story. I’m not sure how good a place it will be for training though. But hopefully the story will be top-notch.

With this new Pandora.TV player I find it almost impossible to get the HD streams so I am stuck with horrible 240p video. But remember if you want to see everything much clearer hit up the source link.

Oh and one more thing. PvP was added this patch as well. It appears everyone will have their skills and stats modified when entering a PvP match. Some skills just can’t be used full stop mostly movement skills like teleport.

But all that was revealed was a Silloutte.

They give you enough to be excited but still retain the mystery. Though as everyone and their dog guessed the boss is the Cygnus Empress. A really quick touch up in Photoshop and it’s basically undeniable.

As you can see the details start to become a little clearer. The Platinum Blonde of her hair that even curls the same way as the sprite. But the biggest give away is her headpiece. You can see it on the side of her head and on the sprite as well as the headband that goes across her forehead.

Oh and of course the hints from the Actual Trailer itself:

To me this is the most exciting part of the Chaos update. People always joked about Maple never having a story. That was somewhat true though stories of  the Black Mage etc were always in the background. But since the release of Cygnus the story has come to the forefront and everything has been a lot more focused. Each major update builds upon the story more and more and it looks like it could reach an interesting peak here. That being said I hope the Empress has actually sub-come to darkness and isn’t just being controlled by some evil force etc. Which lets face it seems much more Maple like. But that’s the story of most evil characters. I really hope they decide to take a darker route here. I think it would be a lot more exciting.

Obviously KMS is lacking in the maps department and other versions may have their exclusive content that is better but these are always alternatives. Most mobs in KMS give the same/Similar EXP so you can more easily train where you please rather than having just one great spot for EXP and everyone fighting over it.

The Ant Tunnel is all change which you will already know if you watched my Tour or someone else’s. You are not allowed to enter until you are 50+ now. Inside you will find all the drake variants but the best map is probably the one that contains just Drakes. The map will be familiar to lots as it used to be the first map of the Ant Tunnel. The layout isn’t perfect but it does have a very dense spawn. A teleporter at the bottom right would have been nice to take you back to the entrance though.

White Pangs and these maps in General in El Nath as they scale up in level are quite good places now thanks to the little portal added to the bottom that warps you to the top of the map. So you can just jump down kill all the mobs on the nice flat platforms and back to the top to rinse and repeat. Fun for Arans and Mechanics also with their movement skills. The White Pang spawn seems a little weaker than the higher level maps but it’s not so bad. The Snow Witch Boss also spawns in this map.

Although I never filmed any tour of KFT I did take a look around. The Moon Bunny Map is the same as before but the spawn I would say is a bit better now. If you have a good mob move that can hit the lower and upper platforms at once then it might be a nice fairly quiet place to train in peace. Also the Bot-Catching mob turned Boss in KFT gave me about 3% a kill at Lv 65, that’s how crazy the new EXP curve is.

Toy Trojans in Ludi were always quite popular in the past and again the maps aren’t different. The two are located in the same place at the Very left and right side of the first floor. The only change is the increased spawn rate which makes them very mobby and your Exp will rise quickly, as it generally tends to after Big Bang. I think both maps are comparable but most will probably prefer the one on the right.

YouTube user 001KDH has uploaded some nice vids of the new Dual Blade in KMST. Luckily for us he has not only uploaded them on Pandora for Koreans but Youtube for the rest of us. If only more Koreans did this then I wouldn’t have to do all this haha.

But I see they haven’t got that many views which is a shame since they are good vids. So I’ll post them here in hope that he can get more views.
